We have been coming to North Myrtle Beach on vacation for 30 years and we always shop at Boulineau's. We went there tonight around 10pm. Knowing that they close at 11 pm, we split up to do our shopping. The whole time I was shopping the loss prevention guy was stalking me, making me feel very uncomfortable. As we were checking out right at 11pm, the cashier was obviously annoyed that she had to cash us out at 11pm. She came around the checkout and started putting my items on the conveyor, as I wasn't doing it fast enough to suit her. After she rang us up, I noticed she had left one item in the buggy. I gave it to her to ring up and she was even more annoyed than ever. She put some of the lighter items in a reusable shopping bag and the heavier items she put in the paper bags with paper glued on handles. When I asked for the stronger bag instead of the lightweight paper bag, the security guy, who was now hovering over is as we checked out, said that bag cost more. We spent over $200 in there so I don't understand how she can use the sturdy bag on some items but when I ask for the sturdy bag for the heavy items I get treated so rudely like I am trying to steel something. Like I said, we have been shopping at Boulineau's when we are in town for 30 years, but I won't be going back there again.Posted on Barbara Jean HeinbachTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love this place ❣️- after vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area for over 38 years, we had never gone to this cool unique looking place. Finally, on a rainy day last year we went to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beyond full salad bar and many, many options for lunch (I believe they have breakfast too) including soups & hot foods. We ha no idea food was served here. We wondered around this incredibly huge store that had everything I could have possibly needed or wanted. From grocery items, sweatshirts, towels, fishing needs, pool shoes, wall hangings, puzzles, and sooooo much more. This store even saved our St. Patrick’s day dinner as they made their own Irish Soda bread, that was no where to be found 2 days before the big day🍀🍀 I just want to say big THANK YOU to Boulineau’s for being such a cool store and also being the only place I could find 12 pk’ s of only Truly Wild Berry flavor❣️ Don’t wait to visit this spot - take a walk up the spiral stairs to the lighthouse. You can also eat in the lighthouse area - how cool, will do that next year.Posted on Scott HillTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
