Excellent beach store containing the needed beach items at reasonable prices. Also there are many decorative items and cute things to purchase as gifts.
We’ve been coming to CG for 15 years and always stop by the Barnacle to browse and see what’s new. We purchase beach equipment if needed as well as anything else we need. Everyone is always friendly and the store is always clean. It may be like most of the surf shops, but it has more of the family friendly feel.
Favorite shop in Cherry Grove. They have such wonderful decor. Love the crab traps! We have one in our tiki bar and turned another into a coffee table!
I went into the store with my friend during spring break and could tell immediately he felt right at home. That’s how amazing it was. It has never been easier to give a 5 star review to anything. We have been visiting the barnacle every beach trip for years. My late younger brother loved this store, and my daughter has the same fascination with it. It is a must see for us.
