The Dairy Hut has been delighting tourists and locals since 1972 with our rich, soft serve cones, thick old fashioned shakes, sundaes, snacks, hot dogs, and frozen yogurt.
After a long day of sand, sun, and salt air, there’s just something special about stopping for a swirl of soft serve, a frozen treat, or a classic hot dog and chips. It’s the kind of simple joy that never goes out of style. The Dairy Hut isn’t just a place to grab ice cream—it’s a memory in the making, where summer tastes sweeter, beach days end perfectly, and nostalgia hits just right.

This place has amazing ice cream! They only have 3 flavors (chocolate, vanilla & strawberry). We came here every night as it was right down the street from our house. The chocolate dipped banana is also wonderful! 🩷
We love this fun little ice cream shop right across the street from the beach. Nicely priced cubes, milkshakes, cotton candy, sundaes and snacks like hot dogs and stuff. They use fresh bananas in the milkshakes. Eat inside or outside at this clean place. We've been going for 15 years and we are never disappointed.
Took a walk just for a great hotdog. They are delicious and they have ice cream and sundaes too. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's a great location and you can sit outside too. It's a must anytime I'm in Cherry Grove. Stop in and try it out, you will not be disappointed!!⛱️💯
The Dairy Hut in Little River is a true gem! Their ice cream is rich, creamy, and always delicious—and the prices are very affordable. No need to travel out of town when you have this great spot right here. It’s just half a block from the beach, and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and polite. I highly recommend stopping by the Dairy Hut!

This is a blast from the past! An ice cream shop from my youth complete with dipped cones, sprinkles optional. I recommended my wife get one as she never had the pleasure before or the training. She was a mess by the time it was done. It takes experience to eat a dipped come without making a mess. I had the hot fudge sundae and it was great. The only thing that kept this from getting a 5 star rating was the attitude of the workers, but the quality of the ice cream was 5 star.
